I convinced our church video announcement talents to do a short session this Summer. With mid 90 degree temperatures and the sun blazing upon us, we walked around the Birmingham Botanical Gardens shooting portraits and looking for shade wherever and whenever we could find it. I had my good friends/teammates Cheryl and Brian along for the trip.
Unfortunately we had to leave shortly after Sunday services, so the sun was at its brightest and I was still in my black slacks and black long-sleeve shirt that I wore to work in the media ministry that morning. Needless to say, I will never wish heat like that upon anyone!

At the end of the day, we were all tired, hot, and ready to go home…
Now, if I could just convince them to go shoot again so I can try my new lens!
